I have grown a monster mother plant but last week I started sexing it for full bloom and in just 1 night of darkness of 12hours I brought my plant out into the light it was ok then the second night and the leaves felt bone dry like it would turn into dust if I touch them, they have all curled up like they have been over watered yet my soil is not too moist, I only water small amounts weekly but enough to help them survive and now my plant looks like its dead from just 12hours in the dark.

I grow natural organically not with man made fertilizers nor with hydrophonics.  I never will grow these ways, I am disabled and use for medical purposes, I have never seen this problem before, I placed it into darkness it was strong big, almost like a small tree it is 5 ft tall and now like I said the leaves are dry and curled up, the stems on some branches are soft and weakneded, whats happened to my plant, I have taken care for months to get this mother plant.

Why is it everytime I come to flowering the plants they just die on me no matter how strong and good they are?

The PH is good, I use purified water, no leaves are yellow or anything they are strong green colors, the plant has dozens of off shooting branches but all my leaves are dried and curled from 2 nights in darkness. Its weird the first night of darkness it was fine the 2nd night it turned out like this. Can I save my plant?

Nothing you describe should have had such a negative effect a plant - especially not such a large effect or such a quick change.

12 hours of darkness cannot damage a plant. Are the plants being moved to a different area for the 12hrs of dark?

Watering a 5ft plant once per week does not sound like enough. Even with a couple of waterings, a big plant can dry out fast. Check that the soil isn't too dry. No more than the top few centimetres of earth should be dry. the soil beneath should be damp or moist.

Some more info about your setup and a photo or two might help diagnose the problem.

@ Hakeem
A other deadly reason for your plant catastrophe came into my mind like I encountered some years ago on an other species.
Is it possible that a dog or a cat did pee into the soil? Especial cats urine is deadly for potted plants in 2 days and showes the effect that you described. %3cxlamation Pets are attracted to cannabis because of its smell and have various reasons to pee onto.

Dog and cat urine is not recommended for plants, but there's no way it will kill a 5ft plant in 2 days.

Also, there's no reason it would only happen after the plant was put into flower.

Hakeem - out of interest, is your flowering room separate from your veg area, and is the flowering room newly painted? Does it have a linoleum floor, by any chance?
