Indoor Growing : Stews Blueberrys

    Author: Solidopc
Subject: Stews Blueberrys
Posted: 15 May 2008 at 01:10

Yes, never use epsom salts with other nutrients. I learned the hard way, and totally screwed up one of my black jacks so bad, i had to throw it out. Totally destroyed that plant.

How much bio bizz grow have you been feeding to your blueberry dude? I'm guessing even before seeing the pics, its not Mg def, but nute burn.

My blueberry is 11 days in flower today. And is 45inches tall. A massive plant. Biggest i've had to date.

I fed it with mollasses and algamic week one, at an EC of 0.7. It was ok with that, and carried on lovely.

I saw a few very lower leafs yellowing slightly, and added only 1/2ml per litre of bio grow, to the mollasses/algamic for the next feed. Which took the EC to 1.0 exactly.

A few days later, and my blueberry is showing signs of very slight nute burn, on about 4-5 leafs. They are crisping at the tip and curling upwards, and yellowing from the ends, inwards. I know it isn't Mg def, because i've been feeding it algamic before hand, and it was fine.

So i'd say, start feeding your blueberry on plain water. Its still only in veg. I didnt feed my blueberry at all in veg. Blueberry is a notorious nute sensitive plant. So go extremely easy on the nutes.

Lucky for you, i'm growing it a few weeks in front of you. So i can tell you in advance what sort of dosage it will and will not like. More so as you and I are both using bio bizz.

I'd recommend getting some algamic. And not feeding your blueberries until they start floweing. And then only light algamic feeds for the first couple of weeks at least.
